Prayer Support

Prayer is the biggest need of our missionaries and churches in Guinea and by far the most important means of support.

Our Guinea missionaries are praying every Wednesday at noon our time.  Please join them - at school, at work, at home, at church or wherever you might be.  Let's blanket Guinea with our prayers!

Here are some general things you can pray for.

     •  Pray for the young church, national and local leaders and
        for all of the believers.
     •  Pray for the people of Guinea - that they may hear and
believe the Good News of Jesus.
     •  Pray for peace in Guinea and West Africa.
     •  Pray for our missionaries - for good health, safety, and close
relationships with Jesus and with each other.

From Rev. Tim Heiney: "We know prayer works because God says it does, and we believe that prayer has always played a big part in our ministries.  We praise God that we've always had really good prayer support from people who do believe in the power of prayer."

September Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for an end to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Ebola has no treatment, no vaccine, and a fatality rate of up to 90 percent.
  • Please pray for the LeadaChild CCCS schools in Guinea – that God would keep the children and teachers healthy, grow their faith, and help them to be good witnesses as they teach their Muslim neighbors.
